Cine Film stands for Moving Film / Picture. Regular 8 was introduced in 1932 followed by Super 8 in 1969. These films were silent though. In 1973 Super 8 Sound was introduced. A 3 inch reel (measured from one side of reel to the other) plays for approx 3 ½ minutes, a 5” reel usually plays for 12 to 15 minutes and a 7” reel plays for around 25 to 30 minutes. These are the most popular reel sizes for home use. The cameras for 8mm were a lot smaller than the original VHS cameras.
Your film is transferred on a projector, frame by frame, with a built in HD 1080 wide screen camera. We do “NOT” project your image against the wall. We can do Regular 8, Super 8 and Super 8 Sound. Your media is transferred to a USB or DVD or Hard Drive which can be supplied for a fee. Movies are edited so they have clean starts and finishes. Each title is what it is on the film. All DVD’s have a menu with all the titles for your easy viewing. If in file format each reel is titled separately.DVD covers have titles and menus and DVD’s are printed on for your convenience.
